Fed: John Butler Trio announce national tour

SYDNEY, April 15 AAP - Australian independent group The John Butler Trio will embark
on a national tour next month.

The tour kicks off in Broome on May 13 and will showcase the band's chart-topping third
album - Sunrise Over Sea.

The tour will take in dates in Darwin, Alice Springs, Bendigo, Albury, Wollongong,
Toowoomba, Hobart, Melbourne, Perth, Adelaide, Sydney and Adelaide and will end in Mackay
on July 18.

The band will donate $1 from every ticket sold to the Refugee Action Coalition.

Missy Higgins will be the national support from June 23 to July 18 with other supporters
yet to be announced for earlier shows.

Tickets go on sale on April 23.
